Day eight – three films

Anything by Quentin Tarantino, Rob Zombie and Tim Burton. Oh wait, films, not directors. 

1. The Basketball Diaries. I always tell parents that they should get their children to watch this film, along with Riding in Cars with Boys. If you have children, let them watch it. Please just do a censorship view beforehand, the movie includes sex and swearing. Over and above the education it provides, it has a brilliant storyline with superb acting.
2. Dead Poet Society. "Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys. Make your lives extraordinary." A motto to live by.
3. Silence of the Lambs. I love a good psychological thriller – and all movies that includes Anthony Hopkins.
